Winter Night with the Mini-Dancing Reflection
In the cool, clear winter night in the Port of Seattle, with all the lights and reflection dancing across the water, a Crowley tractor tug hangs off to the side of this massive container ship, waiting for the ship to get ready to get off the dock.
Foss Tracker Tug working Night Ops
The tracker tug Henry Foss is working at the Port of Seattle. A late-night OPS job pushes a container ship to position it against the dock. while the longshoreman on the dock handles the ship lines to secure the vessel in place.

On a bustling and overcast afternoon in Elliott Bay, the Seattle fire boat takes to the water for a practice session, its powerful fire monitors unleashing powerful sprays that create mesmerizing arcs against the gray sky. Amidst this display of nautical prowess, the steady flow of Puget Sound ship traffic makes its way to the Port of Tacoma, a busy lifeline of commerce and industry in the Pacific Northwest.

On a cold, beautiful, blustery winter day in the Puget Sound, a Washington State Ferry glides across the water, connecting Kingston, WA, to Edmonds, WA, as passengers take in the stunning scenery. As the ferry traverses the waters, a vivid rainbow graces the sky above the Strait, casting a breathtaking, multicolored arc that appears to land directly on the ferry. This mesmerizing sight unfolds through the windows of the tugboat wheelhouse, providing a captivating and serene view during the evening watch.

On an early, black, stormy chili fall morning, the sun broke through the ominous darkness, casting its golden rays upon the McKinley Paper Company and Marathon Marine Terminal. This striking contrast illuminated the Vane Brothers tug and barge at the dock terminal, providing a breathtaking view from the back deck of a tugboat nestled in the heart of Port Angeles harbor. The play of light and shadow, coupled with the industrial charm of the working waterfront, created a picturesque scene that blended nature and industry in perfect harmony.
